Formed in 2001,with offices in London and Glasgow, the company's first film was Lynne Ramsays 'Morvern Callar' where lead actress Kathleen McDermott was famously street cast, (she went on to win the BAFTA for best newcomer). Since then we have continued to work in film and television casting actors and actresses through the traditional approach via their agents, but also drawing on other areas such as music (Ashley Walters-Bullet Boy) and street casting, most notably Thomas Turgoose who played the lead in Shane Meadows 'This is England'.

In August 2008,Des along with business partner Maria Craig formed 'HamiltonCraig Casting' which handles the casting of commercials.
